Over 50 feet in diameter, the Colgate Clock is considered by many to be the world's biggest time piece. It was built by the Colgate-Palmolive Company in the 1920's. Today, it is still clearly visible from the west side of Manhattan, across the Hudson River. The Clock presides over an empty lot in the heart of Jersey City, across from the Goldman Sachs Tower.
